Edie’s vast background in leadership development includes 28 years of experience in virtually every facet of executive training, from classroom facilitation, curriculum development and managing teams, to custom creation of training-related student educational tools. She is certified in over 200 training experiences, including diversity, team development, conflict resolution, counseling, coaching, performance management, problem solving, public speaking, mentoring,  interpersonal communication, and learning and study skills for the new employee.

A recipient of several awards for her work, Edie received the Air Force’s Mobility Command “Instructor of the Year” honors from among a field of 150 instructors. She retired from the United States Air Force as the Director of  Charleston Air Force Base’s Leadership Training Center.  After joining the civilian sector, she spent 12 years helping aviation leaders grow and develop themselves and their teams.  She earned the DAL Global Services “President’s Award” for creation and implementation of company-wide programs designed to raise the leadership and mentoring bar. A frequent keynote speaker, Edie speaks before business industry groups as well as high school, administrative, and university student organizations.

During her 27 years in Human Resources and Leadership Development, Lisa has trained more than 1,000 managers in communication, teambuilding, coaching, effective meetings and diversity. Her experience includes company-wide teambuilding programs targeted toward organizational process improvement as well as planning, organizing and facilitating leadership training for executive level directors, district managers, supervisors and new front-line leaders.

Lisa specializes in Diversity Training, helping companies to elevate their team’s ability to perform effectively among an ever changing, diverse workforce.  In her role as a Diversity Champion, she has created industry-recognized Diversity at Work training seminars, attended by over 300 company leaders. Her expertise includes training and development, employee relations, staffing and selection, and performance management.

Lisa has written about Diversity in the Workplace, including articles about leadership and diversity in the changing aviation industry. She is a frequent keynote speaker on issues of diversity for state and local organizations, most recently at Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA.
